THE INKSTERS began as a picture book critique group, but over the years the members have also each written non-fiction journalism, non-fiction books, middle grade novels and YA. Who's Carol?Welcome to my website! My theme as a children’s writer is “Make Learning Fun.” My passion is educating kids, helping busy teachers address curriculum accountability standards, and encouraging other writers to do the same. And I strive to make that educational process simple and fun for everyone.
Raising my own kids (Doug and Nicole) took me back inside the elementary classroom to lead art and activity programs and sent me into the community to head up scouting groups and organize events for an international children’s charity. Over the years, thousands of children have enjoyed the educational activities I have created. And along the way, they’ve had almost as much fun as I have! This site is dedicated to the children and teachers I write for. And for parents who are also teachers to their kids. I hope you'll return often for more ideas on how to MAKE LEARNING FUN!
